The brakes chattered terribly and depending on how fast you came to a stop, the front end shook. The budget office in Danbury exchanged my Jeep compass 4wd for a Brown Subaru Ascent odometer 47,019.

I am supposed to receive a refund for a full day of rental since I had no car to use until I could get an exchange. There was a Case opened for this exchange. When I returned the car for an exchange, I was charged me $70.00 because the tank was almost full but not full. Brakes were bad, steering was intermittently unresponsive, and the console screen stopped working. Saturday September 23 approximately 8:30 pm, I Rented a White Jeep compass 4wd odometer 46,231 miles at Bradley International Airport. I receive an email in the queue to say my credit card had been charged! When we made it very clear we wanted to pay with our debit card and said that would be okay and had to pay at the end anyway… Complete rip off merchants. Seemed very odd and was definitely untrue, as we ended up spending about $10 on toll roads for the whole trip, when they wanted to take $17 a day!! We come to drop the car off, queue again for about half hour. He then said well if we don’t we would have to pay for it all online. We were asked if we wanted to pay $17 dollars a day for toll roads. We were then asked if we wanted petrol included when it comes full up and there prices were really high for filling up on the way back. So we queued again another 45 minutes gone out of our holiday. Why the man behind the counter couldn’t do this for us I do not know. We then stepped out of the queue and I booked again online and got a car for $500 under my name. Keeping in mind we queued for 45 minutes after a 8 hour flight. He said he did not know how we got it so cheap. When I said we didn’t bring this as the website stated otherwise he cancelled the booking we had for $600 and told us he could only get us a car for $1400! We told him this was not in our budget and we were clearly distressed and there was no concern to help us in any way. We were told we needed a card in his name to proceed. When we arrived we had only bought our travel account card with us and my credit card. I added my partners card as they said they needed for his identity and that was approved and we could pay when we dropped the car off.
